Ride Needed to the Hot Spings Campout from South of Hot Springs

I was looking at the milage and there is no way I am going to be able to hike into Hot Springs. Maybe if the campout was the following weekend or I was starting a week earlier.

Is anyone going from the South that would be able to pick me up from the trail and drop me off on their way back? I plan on having my cell phone with me, so finalizing a pickup point a day or two ahead of time is not a problem. I am thinking I will be about 50 trail miles south of Hot Springs on Friday, give or take a few.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?

i would be glad to swing down that way & give you a ride, but i'll be coming after work on fri & probably wouldn't get that far until 8 or 9pm.
let's see who else is coming, but if no one else is coming that way any earlier, & you don't mind getting to the camp ground till 9 or 10, i'll be glad to do that.
and the ride back to the trail sunday would be no prob. ...tim

    Thanks.

I'm in no hurry. A late night pick up would just mean I make it a little farther down the trail.

Just to warn you, at 2 weeks in I should have the start of a good hiker funk.

And a caterpilar on your lip to filter some of the smell. 'Course, it might just capture the smell and save it for you...
