    Nice video! I did this same loop a couple weeks ago, traveling in the reverse direction your crew did, and parking at bear hollow trailhead.http://benrussell.tv/daily/?p=1329
    I've read about another shelter, close to the summit, off one of the snowmobile trails- referred to as the 'lost shelter'. Also read that some people do a loop hike out of going due east from goddard, going straight down Glastenbury, bushwacking on the route the old AT/LT used to travel. Somewhere there's faint remnants of old structures in that wilderness, but to my understanding that's further west/near shaftsbury- or maybe that's along the old AT/LT route? Don't know, but like you said- lot's of interesting history up there.
