When I made it, temps were in the 50's at night, pretty mild really. The lowest I've gone since increasing to four layers was 22º. It was comfortable, but with occasional cold spots due to not having the rigging dialed-in quite right. Plus, I was about 5' off a rushing stream, and I use a diamond-asym. tarp which doesn't do a lot to keep the wind out.

How much did it weigh with 2 layers? How about now with 4?

Since I typically bikepack with a trailer, weight isn't quite as much of an issue for me. I don't have a postal scale yet, and would be embarrassed if I could actually weigh my gear on a bathroom scale . . .
