    Thanks so much for the feedback. I have some pics in my gallery if you'd like to see a few photos of some of this stuff up close.

    Yes, I have a clove hitch glued down on the pole on each end. The suspension line wraps around the pole and then is prevented from going anywhere by the hitch.

    I'll add some pics of the clove hitches to the gallery when I have a few minutes.
