Nice stand for a first hang! : )
If you are going to get a storm tonight, you might want to hang a bit higher into the tarp? Enjoy and Good Luck.
Let us hear how it went.

Awesome set up. My first hang it poured too. Watch out for splash back.

Just started raining. Pulled the ends of the tarp to the ground as cover from blowing rain. Dont think its bad enough that ill need my bivy and its only gonna be like 50 tonight so not too cold. Eating dinner now and then back into the hammock! Not as fun as the woods would be but work is priority so maybe next weekend ill get up into the pines and give it a real test. Thanks for all the encouragement guys.
