If you want to make that tarp more awesome with snow have some doughnut pull outs I can't remember of the top of my head 2q or dutch makes them. But dang I wish I had a tarp like that. That is almost as good as bacon.

"Camping" in this weather is actually fun, and also that wet dogs seem to be attracted to UQ's... time to look at a protector. breathable or waterproof???
First I call the wet snow, "White Rain" it is beautiful, makes wonderful Christmas photographs, and soakes everything. I hate being out in it.

I find being outside, but under cover to be a beautiful experience. I love being in my hot tub, in the middle of a snow storm, something about the snow swirling over headd and me nice and warm...It is some kind or odd power trip for me.

Wet dogs love anything you do not want to smell like a wet dog. My two K9's go out of their way to make my gear smell like them, when they are wet.

I am still debating the Greathable vs waterproof. Not sure yet, probably one of each.

ya the price was great, and it is smaller than the deluxe, which I looked at, but wanted a little smaller.

ya there is something nice about the snow falls, and hot tubs are always great
i'm going breathable . Dont think I wil have much use for the waterproof...at least not yet.

and with this snow fall, I dont need a bigger tarp, I just build snow walls great for the backyard

Ahhhhh, yellow walls, will help you find your way back to your fortress after a call of nature in the middle of the night.

Love my Tadpole. When ever I get around to making a sock, I may try and use it in the winter....RR
