Sitting indoors on a day like this really bums me outNot because Its raining but because I'm not out in the woods while its raining...Instead i've spent the day procuring hammock supplies and working on my cook kit....What do you all do when your stuck in doors on a day off? I could use some inspiration!
I just made cozies for two Glad screw top bowls, hope to use them real soon.
Oh, and since Dutch is stepping up his shipping, I am making a list.
Spent the morning messing with my cook kit, making cozy for a cup, and a hobo pot w/detachable bail for cooking over open fire. I did manage to get out and take about a 2 hour hike through the woods at a local park.
Maybe I'll mess with alcohol stoves or something...havent made one in a while. Got the wife to crochet me some wrist warmers too hehe
Worked on new WB RR bridge for about 4 hrs fitting quilts, UQP, Top cover, attaching this and that to it. Wrapped a couple of Christmas presents for the grandkids..Posted a few pics to this forum about some mods I made to gear. Layed in RR and watched the last half of IU basketball game vs. Bulter U. here in Indiana,,,Butler beat No. 1 IU by 2 points in overtime!!!!!!!!!! Wow..good game...its raining and I could have been out deer hunting with muzzleloader,,but wanted to catch up on this gear setups. Busy kinda day myself. Very enjoyable.
