For a minute there I thought you were talking about Clemson, SC.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!
last time I was there was almost 12 years ago...but there were salt cedar trees in furnace creek campground that were good for a hang, can't say if they are still allowing hanging there or not though...have a great time there, it is one awe inspiring place!!
It does get cold there in the winter.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
It snowed there last year. You might want to make a hammock stand to take with you.
Tortoise never for a moment stopped, but went on with a slow but steady pace straight to the end of the course.

Depends on where you are camping. Stovepipe Wells campsite have no trees. You might have to use your car and another attachment point to hang.
Furnace Creeks have low hanging trees. You will have to be creative.
Bring extra set of whoopies to get a good reach. Happy hanging.
I was just in death Valley in mid-December. it snowed. it rained. the wind blew 50 miles an hour. ... It's not exactly what one would expect of the hottest driest place in the Western Hemisphere!
You can pretty much camp anywhere you want as long as it's at least 2 miles from a major road. This is what I did, but forewarned! There are no trees! Furnace Creek does have some trees that you probably can hang onto however.
"Thanks to the Interstate Highway System, it is now possible to travel from coast to coast without seeing anything."

It seems like there were a few trees up in the area near Scottie's Castle too, but that is 40ish miles from the Furnace Creek area.
Tip of the week, do not try a hammock stand at Devil's Golf Course. Besides the regulations against it, that 3am walk is rough!
Happy Trails to one and all.
Enjoy the outdoors wisely and elevate your perspective.
