Looks like yall had a blast... Makes me hungry just watching that, also reminds me of how puny my camp cooking skills are...

The trick to the bottle in the fire is all the air has to be out... No air bubbles in the top, that's why the lid melted off first...

Next time we put the bottle into a divot in the ashes so it can sit straight up and down with no flames touching the area not covered by water.
