    Do you have any concerns about having your dogs directly underneath you? If your hammock fails it could be catastrophic !

    My 5 pound chihuahua sleeps with me in my hammocks all the time. He just "burrows" in somewhere and ends up near my face in the morning. I've been thinking of making a mini hammock for him to hang from my ridgeline. A hammock within a hammock kind of thing. Attach it with a prussic on each end so I could adjust the "lay" as well as move it fore and aft. Of course it would need it's own underquilt...man I've spoiled that little bugger!
