Hello all. Some of you may know that I've been making UQ shells for a few months now. After the last batch, I have 2 left. They measure 46" wide by 50" long (torso length) and have 9 baffles (2.5" baffles for a max loft of 3+"). Both are dark olive on olive green. These are differential cut UQ's.
Weight of the shell is 6 ounces. With 850 fill it will weigh less than 15oz without suspension.
The two long edges and one end are already rolled hemmed with channels.
All thats needed to complete the UQ is to add the down of your choice to each baffle and then sew the edge shut (rolled hem with a channel). Add the shock cord suspension of your choice and it's done. Depending on the down fill you use, this UQ is rated from 10* to 20* - this is a conservative est. because everyone experiences cold differently.
Tell me what down fill you'll be using and I will tell you the exact amount for each baffle.
