Welcome from Denver!

There are a number of us up around Athens and scattered across the state. The first thing to do is go hit YouTube and search for "Shug Hammocks" - if that doesn't scare you off then you will probably get hooked or hang'd.

welcome from AR! Stick with what you have for now and do some research here on the Forum. Learn some new tricks and try them in the woods. You'll get it nailed in no time. Welcome to the fun!
Welcome from Athens, Tennessee. Yep, you've hit the right spot. Stay tuned and learn. Yes, it is possible to a set-up without great expense--in fact, it's kind of fun to try and experiment on the cheap.
Hello from CO!!
Welcome, I am sure that you will learn lots
You are so in the right place! Hanging is a THING here, most definitely. I like the way you use words. Welcome!
Welcome from another Georgian. In Jan., the first weekend, a hang will happen at Raven Cliffs Wilderness Area. Easy to get to and a fun group to camp with. Come if you can make it, folks will be happy to show/teach/demonstrate or whatever, heck, most hammock folk look for an opportunity to share what they know. Happy hanging.
welcome to Hammock Forums and hey from high point nc.
