what lines do i need to hold it all together?

i have an eno doublenest and atlas straps. i recently purchased up a warbonnet superfly tarp with no lines or stakes. i'm curious what i need to get to mount the tarp? dynaglide, amsteel, zingit. not sure about all the differences, but i would rather be safe than save a few ounces.

i also recently picked up that hammock from woot. i've gotten my buddy interested in hanging so i wanna have an extra one. i would like to try my hand at making the suspension system for this one. so it kinda goes with my other question about what kind of line i need to buy.

i hope this is clear, i've been "off" today and have had trouble getting my thoughts across. but i've been wondering/looking into this for a week and just had to post

If you would like to have lines already set up CamperMade, Whoopieslings and Dutchware can get you set with both your tarps and your suspension.

    +1 on these vendors.

If you're interested in DIY, though, zing-it is probably the most common for tarp lines and tie-outs and 7/64 amsteel is the most common for hammock suspension lines (whoopie slings, continuous loops, etc.). You can purchase both in numerous places. I get mine at www.dutchwaregear.com.

Also, the following are some decent posts about creating tarp ridgelines, tarp tie-outs and hammock suspensions. You can follow these and make your own with the zing-it and amsteel.

For the tarp ridgeline and tie-outs I prefer 1.75mm Lash-it. I just like the grey over the Zing-it yellow. You can go with a smaller line since it's not load-bearing like your hammock suspension. I concur on 7/64 amsteel for the whoopies.

I'm about to try 1/4" shock cord for my tarp tie-outs. I believe I stole the idea from Shug, but where ever I saw it it's pretty genius.

1/4" is pretty beefy. Might want to look at 1/8".

Well shoot, I went back and forth between the two but ended up deciding on 1/4". I hope it works, because I got 100'. I guess there are always other uses if not.

I just tie a ~6" loop of 1/8" bungee onto each tarp tieout; then attach my guyline to those bungee loops.

Sometimes, for a tighter pitch, I'll leave the Tarp Ridgeline's bungee loops dangling and attach the ridgeline directly to the tarp tieouts - most always use the bungee loops for corner and side lines though.
