    Count Your [Hammock Related] Blessings

As with many years in the past, this year has been a very fortunate, blessed one for me and my family. Too many blessings to count, really.

I wanted to share a few of mine, though - hammock-related, of course.

Here are the rules - up to three, each one written Twitter-style (140-ish characters) to keep it light and easy to read/skim through.

    Mine are:
    1. Comfort when camping. This is my first year hanging. I always resigned myself to getting the best bad sleep possible in the backcountry. Not anymore!

    2. The Outdoors. I feel closer to heaven, better understand myself and enjoy those I'm with more than ever when I'm outdoors.

    3. Underquilts. Oh, so warm. Oh, so comfortable. The Warbonnet Lynx especially. Amazing fit on my RidgeRunner...

I'm thankful for hammocks as they allow my wife to enjoy backpacking with me. She loves her hammock as much as I.

Thankful that hammocking has re-ignited my passion for the outdoors and has helped me get out more

Thankful for HF for providing a place to share knowledge and make friends.

That's a good one. I can't even say how long it would have taken me to learn all that I have without this forum. Years, probably.

That's awesome! Any specific plans on what the new setup will be yet?

    I am thankful:

    1) That I am alive to still do this, and to see my Grandchild born!
    2) That this forum exists, and our unique and caring community.
    3) That my better half gifted me with a new HG 0* TQ and UQ this year!

Oh, and also for Bacon, of course!

I'm thankful for this forum and everybody who I've either watched on youtube or read posts from to learn about this stuff.

I'm also thankful for hammocking in general and how it's helped me realize how much I do enjoy being outdoors.

And lastly I'm thankful for my dad and uncle who first introduced me to this hammock campinig business.

I also agree that bacon is something to be thankful for.. and fresh coffee on a cold day
