Hey we are in the far SW corner of Kansas. I've found a few other hangers around here... are there any more? NW Oklahoma and Texas too.... also SE Colorado. I'm up for any hangout!

Hey dart; what do you hang your hammock from; when I lived in the Hugoton/Rolla area there weren't many trees in your neck of the woods except for towns and farms. Ok, if you could find a river/creek bed one could find a row or so; I know where there are a patch on the grasslands North of Elkhart but . . .

Hey! Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Lol sometimes it is hard to find a place. There isn't even really many places in Johnson to do it. I went with a couple friends down to the Grasslands and they have some trees in the campgrounds. It was a good time. A bit cold but it was good. This last summer we spent a bunch of time camping up at Scott Lake. There are some campsites there that are pretty good for Hammocks too!
Forgot about Scott Lake; I guess there is Meade state park/lake also. Yeah; not sure where the campgrounds are on the Grasslands. The trees I was think of would not be in a campground unless they have put some in North of Elkhart about 5 or 10 miles on Hywy 27 and then about a mile or two east of 27. Of course I guess it has been about 15 years since I was out there.

Hey stranger. There are now two of us here!
I haven't seen any pictures of a hammock setup on an irrigation system yet.
You know, if you get real bored.
Trust nobody!
Servant,
I like that username. Glad you found me on here!
Cannibal,
