CA>North Santa Barbara County to South Big Sur area>Feb 2012> hike n hang feeler!

Just a thought. I look forward to my trips to these areas every year at that time. I can think of a couple places that will handle multiple hangers, some close, some a little further away. I'll be planning trips anyway, so.... anybody interested?

If it's closer to Big Sur I'd be up for it.

Remember that the State Parks doesn't allow anything hanging from the trees.
I was at the Kirk Creek campground by the coast and the trees were way back by the hiker and biker sites.

Are you planning a car camping or a backpacking trip?

Another potential location would be the campsite right behind the famous water falls. There is a portable toilet but no water source.

I asked about this and they said no problem when I described a normal suspension system. And I was planning a backpacking trip, albeit a short one. At this point I'm open to whatever though...
