Water running down the Suspension Systems?

Hey guys, I didn't see any threads on this when I did a search so I thought I would ask. Do any of y'all have a problem water running down the Suspension when it rains? I have always tied a string tightly around the Suspension just before connects to the hammock so the water will run down to the lowest point of gravity. Though, it seems to still make its way past the string sometimes if it rains long enough. I have never gotten wet, but I'm afraid I'll one day be in the rain long enough that it will get the hammock its self wet?

If you are not getting wet then something's working.

to be on the safe side just put two small strings on each side and put them about 2-4 inches apart

I believe I've seen Shrug refer to these as 'drip lines' in some of his videos.

I use a couple of rings to transition from my hammock line to my woopies which causes a bit of a break so any water runs to the bottom of the ring and then off.

Here are the rings I use: http://www.backwoodsdaydreamer.com/p...etal-hardware/

+1 for the Rings. They are a true rain stop.
