    How to hang inside

I recently purchased a Yukon outfitters double and the AHE cinch buckle kit with tree straps. What is the best way to hang safely in a garage? The space is finished so I would have to locate studs, no boggy. But what should I put on the wall to hold the tree straps?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ed

Many use lag bolts, attaching them to studs, or to 2x4s that are attached to studs to spread out the load. Generally, though, those aren't meant to support inward pulling forces.

I personally prefer stands. They are easier to reposition and don't do anything permanent to the walls. I use a TurtleLady or TurtleDog stand outside (might be good for a garage) and the Vario stand indoors where I want it to look nicer and sit a little lower:

I hang in my basement. I am hanging from the corners of the room were my suspension is supported by more than one stud. I drilled a hole and used a rope with a stopper knot on the other side to keep it from pulling through. I wouldn't trust a single stud. I have pulled down part of my finished walls in the begging

i used tie down rings heres a pic

the screws that are holding it are 3.5 inch deck screws "I pre-drilled the holes and shot in some liquid nails as well " the screws are going into the double 2x6 studs that are next to my closet door the other end is the same setup but going into a block wall with tapcon screws each side should be able to hold over 1400 pounds of force easily

    Interesting.

If I was going to do something like that on an Interior wall... I think I would take a 2x4 long enough to span 3 studs (Disperse the load), sink 2 lag bolts in it at each stud. Be sure to pre-drill. Then use something Lagged into that 2x4 to attach your suspension.

But overall, if you can afford it buy a stand, or build one. More options with stands. I made one from 2x4's.
