Okay, not 100% sure what happened but my dutch oven went missing. I am headed out of town and wont be back till late Friday. Any chance someone could bring an extra? Will need it to cook for Saturday night...

Weather forecast is finally entering the point where I'd kinda think it might be somewhat accurate. Looks like it's gonna be partly sunny both days, with a low both nights of around 24F. Not uber warm, not uber cold. Don't think there's supposed to be a lot of wind either, so should be pretty decent.

And yep, Weasel will be missed. Been quite a long time since I've been out without him.

how big a dutch oven do you need?

Average size, 6 quarts or so? I am cooking up around 5 lbs of
Potatoes and two packages of smoke sausages. All of which need to fit in the pan.

Gear is mostly packed out, nothing like I would do if I were actually hiking in, but what the heck. Gotta do some running around town here in the morning...still hoping to be onsite sometime tomorrow (Friday) afternoon. Weather looks a bit chilly, but will have gear to cope with it. Looking forward to seeing y'all out there!

life is getting in the way -- I'm not going to be able to get there before sunset friday, so rather than set up in the dark, I'm going to be a weenie and hold off until first thing Saturday. I think I have a dutch oven big enough for all that -- just need to make sure I have a lid for it. If not, I can bring 2 smaller ones.

Also, I can bring a bunch of chili for Saturday lunch -- or a side dish for dinner.

Wanted to thank you guys for all coming out. I had a great time...thoroughly enjoyed seeing old friends and making new ones!

I'll start a trip report thread here in few days once I get some time to try to put a video and some pics together.
