I'd like to nominate Weasel to play the part of Punxsutawney Phil on Saturday morning.

LOL...looks like it's gonna be both cold, and a possible bit of ice coming down on Saturday so far.

I'm thinking I'm gonna be REAL slow climbing outta my hammock that morning!

one forecast says Friday - sunny & 32, Friday night 15...
another says Friday 37, Friday night 24, Saturday 52...

either way, it's going to be tough convincing myself to crawl out of the toasty warm sleeping bag and pull on my icy cold boots... at least until the call of nature becomes insistant...

Hey, do you guys want to do a pot luck dinner or something Friday or Saturday night?

I was thinking about making 15 beans soup and ham. That ought to get us rocking by the fire.

    What do you think?

Sounds good to me. I am thinking Saturday night to be the better option so people can get settled-in, but either way I'll bring dessert.

Too funny...I was talking this over with my wife, and I'd decided to bring the fixings for my mom's potato soup to do in a dutch oven for everyone out there...and then I come and look at the thread and see everyone's thinking along these lines.

    Let's do it!

BTW...looks like Weasel can't make it...work can't let him off. But depending on the weather, it looks like my wife may come out with me instead.

As it stands right now, I'm hoping to be onsite sometime Friday afternoon.

Looking forward to seeing the folks I know, and meeting the folks I've not yet met!

Looks like dinner is covered. Was thinking about supplying breakfast Saturday morning, bringing oatmeal, bacon and eggs. Any other suggestions?

sounds good - I can bring a percolator for coffee and a second 1/2 gallon pot for hot water.
planning on being there Friday afternoon, what meals do we still need to cover?
