just wanted to say hello and let you all know that i am planning on purchasing my first hammock. i've read alot on each of the manufacturers, reviews, accessories, etc... and the blackbird is the one.

Excellent decision on the hammock and welcome!

Now it's time for all the goodies, might need to go get a loan. Actually, read thru more of the threads here and you'll find that you can build many of the items you'll need/want for much less coin if you're willing to spend some time if front of a sewing machine. Good luck and have fun!

thanks skinner, hope you are right on the decision and you probably are since most of you have posted excellent expreiences with several other hammocks which really helped me decide on the bbird.
