Hennessy Super Shelter - The Good, Bad & Ugly?

I've used my Explorer Dlx with SS down to about 50*F. I've used the space blanket, and I've skipped it. You know what's worked the best for me so far? SS without space blanket, and a poncho liner stuffed in between the pad and UC. I can still use the bottom entry just fine, and only have to give the PLUQ a quick tug to bring it back into place after entry.

I've also used my HH with a Jarbidge, to great effect. Since the Jarbidge fits all my hammocks, it is my preferred piece of 3-season under gear. And it is cheaper than a SS and packs smaller.

You might want to get the UQ now and pick up a SS when they are on sale. The SS is usually $100 and free shipping during their annual after Christmas sale - or their demos go on sale for about $70 but you have to pay shipping from Canada. Another option is to go to one of the 'shows' they demo at (like Trail Days in Damascus, Va in June).
Stacking the SS and a 3/4 UQ works great. I've used my Jarbridge/SS stacked at 20F and was very warm. I also use the 'Over Cover' when below 25F or a windy 32F. I think it was $20 during the sale.
