My *new* thread injector! Thanks Santa!

So...a couple of months ago I am in the thrift store and I come across this Gem Dandy of a sewing machine: a pink Atlas zigzag from around 1957. And only $40! I went home, did some research, talked to my wife, and decided I was in love. I went back after work the next day to get it and somebody had already bought it that day (after it sitting in that store for 4 weeks)!

Fast forward to today and guess what was under the tree? That's right...my pregnant wife had bought that Atlas right out from under me and took it to the local shop for a new belt. So now I have read the original manual that it came with, looked through all of the extras that it came with, and sewed a scrap material stuff sack. It is wonderful and even has a knee pedal and a small tag-dated cabinet. Did I mention it is pink? I am in love...

Great machine... But a better wife... I suggest you keep them both well maintained...
