I like how clean this looks. Bonus - setup is quicker! Really cool Sarge!

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but I'm wondering if (now that it has been a while) there are any updates to this idea, or thoughts on it after long term use.
Thanks for bumping. I was trying to remember to look for this. I owned a set of Quilt hooks but couldn't figure out just what I wanted to do with them,
You can always count on the Rock!
Signature suspended
I'm still using it all the time. They work fine for me.
@SGT Rock: Nice to hear from you. Many have learned not to snivel and other useful things from your site. The rest of you should check it out.
Thanks for the update! I've got a modification idea I wanted to run by you. It seems like the shock cord that you kept in the UQ channels was only useful for making adjustments initially, but once you got everything in place that adjustability was no longer needed. What are your thoughts on something like this pic:
UQ Suspension.png
The orange represents grosgrain loops (there would be no channels on the long end of this DIY UQ), the red circles are schock cord loops, and the blue lines are the quilt hooks. As long as everything was carefully placed, do you think that would work well given your experience in nontraditional UQ suspension?
It might. Part of how i do it is due to the fact i sometimes flip my hammock and need to reverse the tie in points
Video no longer seems to be working. Would love to see it if anyone has it.
Second that. How about re-uploading the vid Sarge?
