Tncamper told me at Neo's hang this weekend that I really needed to make this one. Just a couple questions.....can you guys tell me what the river is like? We have kayaks but don't have dry suits yet so we probably don't need to try to paddle anything too wild in March? Also is this hang "kid friendly".......if it isn't that's fine but my 12 year old loves to hang and kayak so I thought if it worked out I may try to bring him along as well.

So unless something unforeseen happens I plan on being there as well.

River is low right now, but could change. Don't need dry suit, just bring a dry bad with extra clothes.

I'll be bringing a few extra boats and should have some extra jackets as well.

    hiking question...

Is there much hiking required to get to the camp area? Also from there to the river? I'm just barely getting started and don't have what I need to hike but if it's not too far from where we park I'd like to go.

You drive down to the campgrounds, and the river is right there as well. There's trails from the campgrounds as well. It is a steep, gravel road down too it (I wouldn't take the bike)

Thanks, that wing may be a bit of an issue to push up a steep hill...or to try to stop it going down.
