'Classic.' A book which people praise and don't read.” ― Mark Twain
Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.
There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.
We have a week to decide if we are going to do a group breakfast as Medicine Man suggested!
Time to chat it up seriously if we are and find out who wants to bring what.
Afoot and light-hearted, I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me,
The long brown path before me, leading wherever I choose.
I'm down for friday breakfast just let me know what i can bring.
Oops..just watched the weather tonite,,and our weather people in Indy are calling for a big Low pressure system to dip and swing really far south,,so we are heading into another big snow event beginning Next Tues morning. Not sure how far it will go,,but it looked like rain covering the south all the way to the Florida line..and they didn't go into any more detail as they want to watch more storm tracks and see how it eventually lines out. Keep track of this,,but then again,,get it over with and your weekend to hike could be very nice. My fingers are crossed for you to have nice weather after this Low blows thru Tues, Wed.

Think there are some picnic tables near/adjacent to the parking lot? I didn't look last time I was there.
So weather may be crap for a group breakfast, but for what breakfast items cost in a collective I'll gamble on it. So put me down for 4 dozen eggs.
I'll bring a skillet and propane burner to cook eggs. Like I said, if he weather craps on a community breakfast I'm only out the eggs.
Roche can you bring that cool perculator? or was it Spamburgler?
Maybe some hot chocolate for 2Sticks and me.
I think you might have good to great weather MedicineMan,,,get this Low Pressure system out of here by Wed, and your going to have sunny weather maybe.

It would be better if you were there Acer to enjoy the early spring weather with us (high hopes I know).
I do too,,I just hate this show I am setting for the Methodist Hospital Task Core women. Its a Art & Antique show,,high dollar,,dealers from all over the US with the most expensive antiques you can imagine,,and these women,,all remind me of my great aunt when I was a kid..too much makeup,,too much lipstick,,one had this gaudie red hat on with little red balls hanging down from it, and a leopard patterned coat..and they all have nothing to do but drive me nuts for 5 days setting this show. I would rather be in the woods any day than endure this once a year!

Yes, MM there are picnic tables and even charcoal grills and (maybe) a pavilion even if foul weather!
I will bring my propane grill and fresh bacon from the C&F Slaughter House two miles from we're I live!
