...due to my obscenely wide foot I have to order my running shoes online instead of working with my local brick and mortar running store. I needed a new pair, and I also noticed those Vivobarefoot Ultra Pure's Medicine Man was wearing at BSF so I had to have a pair. Between, booties, water shoes, Z-Packs, hydration systems, Roched Hadrons and more that BSF trip has racked up the $$$.

Be sure NOT to let me check out everyone's gear in March!!! 40 days and a wake up...
Afoot and light-hearted, I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me,
The long brown path before me, leading wherever I choose.

So it is a definite that I will be there, I have a client and a friend of his coming along. We will leave Louisiana probably around 4 am, predicting a trailhead launch of 12-1 then hauling azz to Hobb's. These two will be on the ground but very much interested in everyone's gear so they can eventually get off the ground. We will be in the sawmill site Saturday night and Stage Coach Sunday night, out on Monday. We plan on a lot of day hiking. So we will see you Friday night and Saturday morning.

Am I correct, there will really be no communal no group cooking, etc...

    communal food

that is usually post hike at a chinese buffet.
On multiday hikes its hard to coordinate a group pot. Most of us will congregate into little groups here and there depending on overall size of the group. Poof and I usually arrive at camp late and some have already eaten...we're used to cooking in the dark.

Don't let MM fool you. He cooks in the dark because he is hiding that steak he is grilling on the firefly stove

I was in Dunlap yesterday. I entered the GPS coordinates to the the ranger station and it appears to be around 20 or 25 minutes away. There is a Chinese buffet and Dunlap but I Cannot give it a rating. As I understand the one on Monteagle is excellent!

Roche will soon be chiming in...

Shan Dynasty in Monteagle consistently ranks in the top 100 Chinese restaurants in America. It's not a huge mega-buffet, but the food is excellent.

    on Chinese buffet

Personally I choose a little lesser quality and a huge variety. Definetly want a buffet.

Ftroop...while I did have the shoes it was the presence of Roche that caused your shopping spree.
