Looking like 16 committed at this point + an evening or two with Swankfly and Co.

    I can't wait.

Does anyone know what kind of stream crossings we will have on this hike. Will the dedicated wading shoes be needed this time?

Unlike the BSF hike the Gulf has bridges over the major stream crossings. The smaller ones are easy to navigate without getting wet.

The post hike Chinese buffet is the brainchild of MedicineMan. My concern is that there is one nearby; thanks for the recon.

Well MM, Roche and all concerned...

Many of the GPS directions bring one in on 40W and down through Crossville, Sparta and McMinnville then on up to the Gulf so that route makes sense, it's a trusted place (with a positive health score rating!). I'd even deviate from my return course and diet to attend... For the comaradarie of course!!!

McMinnville wouldn't be a bad drive. If I can make it out on Sun. early enough to join you I'm sure I could go for some Chinese. Of course I have to make it through the climb out on Saturday first.
