M1942a sleeping bag converted to an underquilt

I dub this UQ the sequoia. I purchased this on ebay, It lived the first 66 years of its life as a m1942a down& feather sleeping bag, the tag on the inside was dated 1946. On the outside it has stamped usfs sequoia and U.S. It was used by the US Forest Service in the Sequoia National Forest. It sat on my gear shelf for a while, so I decided to make an attempt at turning it into an underquilt for a friend. I seam ripped it open, removed the zipper and draft tubes, added grosgrain channels to all four sides and reused the draft tubes for the head and foot ends.

Great job! Looks like it'll be very warm.
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

I would get mad about destroying a piece of history, but I love your idea and design! I want one now. How much on ebay?

Due to the fill being down & feathers it was a bit heavy, I gave it away this past weekend, but would say around 1.5lbs to 2lbs, def a car camping quilt.
