    Hello from NC

Just wanted to say hello from Waxhaw, NC. I am what you guys would call a ground dweller but have bitten by the hangin bug.... A guy from the forums has been trying to convert me for a long time and I finally gave in. He's known as "Groundhog" on the forums but I know him as Dad. I have learned a lot over the past month lurking and really appreciate all the "DIY" stuff. Fortunately for me I have access (insert groundhogs stuff here) to a lot of great gear and have already slept in a JRB Ultralight bridge and a WL "Lite Owl" in the back yard over the past 2 weekends. Looking forward to getting out to a group hang in the near future.

Also, got lucky with a relative handing over a sewing machine for me to see if I could get it working (success) so now its time to make some stuff on the cheap... I'll try to post picks of my first hang (backyard) and the "thread injector" if I can figure out how the photo attachments work on this forum...

Anyway, thanks for all the information and ideas. More to come... I am sure.
    David

Hello. From the great Volunteer state
A man does not climb a mountain without taking some of it away with him, and leaving something of himself upon it.
