I have a few long weekends planned for 2013 consisting of bike touring with my hammock. Also, I'm going to hit the 127 Yard Sale Extravaganza, hammocking along the way.

I'll be hiking the Georgia Section of the AT in May. I might hike either NY, CT or MA Sections of the AT in the fall. I was also thinking of hiking Linville Gorge in the fall as well.

In about 5 days I'll be hiking the whispering pines trail and hanging with a good group of hammockers for the midwest's Missouri Hang 3, extremely excited for this hike hang for it will be my first winter hammock experience outside of tests in the backyard. I also have a AT thru hike planned for late May and words can't describe my anxiousness for that!

Hopefully 3 days to a week, or multiple weekends on the North Country Trail here in Michigan and the UP.

I just plan to get out as much as I can and I am really hoping to spend a week or so on the AT...not sure the section, probably something in VA/WV/MD. Ultimate goal is to thru hike it in the next 5 years or so as soon as the kids are grown a little more and I can save the money to be able to leave for 6 months.
