Savage gulf this Friday night anyone?

Anyone want to do a quick overnighter at savage gulf this Friday night? I plan on doing the stone door - big creek rim - Camp at alum gap, then hike out on laurel Saturday morning. I was supposed to have a few Frieda go with me but they all bailed.

Absolutely. I've been trying to make this trip for 3 weeks and can't find someone to commit. Guess I'll do something closer to Nashville.

If you get to Alum Gap early, walk out to Greeter Falls. It's about 3 miles round trip, but well worth the hike. And you're only walking 4 miles in. Or do it Saturday morning. Or, on your ay in or out, you could just stop at the Falls Parking area and do the 1/2-mile round trip down to the falls and back. But it's well worth the extra time to see.
