I've used them a couple of times, the customer service is great and Mat is very helpful.
No affiliation, just a very happy customer.
Yep, one of the good guys...

Me too. Top and Underquilts plus odds and ends of accessories. Top rate service.

has anyone tried the woodsman x hammock with the removable net? looks like a good hammock for summer and winter.
I have the very one you are talking about and all I can say is don't worry just order it it is the most comfortable hammock I have even lain in!
Have a look here http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=57954
Looks like a great hammock and may replace a blackbird on my wants list.
Just ordered a woodsman x myself to replace a hammock with no bug net which will now be my gear hammock, I just couldnt miss the January discount!
I already had an order outstanding with UKHammocks which I wanted to change, emailed Mat this morning and it was all sorted by lunchtime, amazing customer service!
how much did you end up spending after shipping and currency exchange? not sure if i can get it together as a january purchase but would like to know how much to expect.
If you have a choice have it shipped Royal Mail as opposed to UPS, Fedex etc. The latter have astronomical brokerage fees on top of the duty. In the past I had a $100 hammock shipped from the States to Canada. I paid more more in broker fees ($35-40) than in duty ($15). I have since had items shipped via USPS and not had to pay either duty or the extra brokers fee. I have also used Royal Mail to ship from the UK ($50 sporran) without any extra fees.
