    Hello from North Carolina

Hi. I'm a member of a few other outdoor related forums and anytime there is a hammock related question there are always several recommendations to come check out this site. So here I am! I had no idea there were so many options, configurations, rigs, and modifications to hanging. It almost seems overwhelming. There is a lot to learn. But the members here seem to be very knowledgeable and helpful so I'm sure that with your help I'll be able to navigate the process. While I am experienced in backpacking and the outdoors in general I am a total newb to hammocks. So, I don't expect to be doing a lot of posting at first as I'll likely be busy using the search function.

hello from monroe. There are a lot of answers here but I find that answers only lead to more questions. I guess its a good thing you will almost always get answers... Clears room for more questions.

Yes. So far I've found that to be the case. Getting an answer only leads to trying to find out what the words in the answer mean.
