    Hello From Joilet IL

    Hello everyone!

I have been lurking around here, and using your knowledge on the HF to help guild me in this hanging adventure. I have backpacked most of my life. I have two sons ( 8 and 11) that I have going with me now, when school and sports don't conflict. I hope to be a useful member and add to the great mix of members you have here. I have a hennessy explorer deluxe that I received for Christmas with a Cub too. Now just one more for my 11 year old, and off we go.

    thanks for having me!

Welcome to HF! I always like to hear about parents spending time outdoors with their kids. Good on you!

    Thanks,

where are you at down south? and have you done any part of the river to river trail? i would love to do it some day.

And thanks for the props for the kids, I have had them all over, I am a huge national Park nut so I have had them at 3 so far and hope to get them to all of them some day.

    thanks for the welcome,

    Welcome from Denver!

Lots of areas of camping benefit from hammocks. Perhaps the best are backpacking and time with kids, though. Enjoy!

Welcome to the forums from Indiana!
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."
