Snug fit suggests for RR?
I received a RidgeRunner hammock for Christmas and am looking for suggestions or ideas on how to use my Snugfit UQ.
When I hang it there are lots of cold spots.

Is your Snug Fit a universal with loops along the edges, or a Hook and Loop edge?
If hook and loop, make a channel of rip-stop with a hook or loop sewn full length to match the quilt. Run a stretch cord through the channel and attach at the ends of the hammock. You will also need to add loops at some mid points to lift the center area of the quilt up with shock cord to the ridgeline.
Or add hook and loop to the edge sides of the RR
Buy a Lynx UQ.
I know it's not an entirely helpful answer, but I wanted to toss it out. The Lynx may be my favorite part of the RR. It fits so well, it's almost unbelievable. Set it, forget it and stay warm. No possible gaps, no cold spots. I love the feel of gathered-end hammocks, but find my way back to the RR just because I know I won't have to fuss with the insulation side of things.

If you opt to go with an UQ that fits a bridge better, you shouldn't have any problem moving the Snugfit. It's a same that those fell out of production.
He has the snugfit with the loops on both sides. It looks like a job for shock cord.
Don't suggest another purchase, he has the same level of sales resistance as his dad so a lynx may be in his future.
As far as selling the snugfit, I don't see that in the near future but you never can tell.
I sujest getting a Lynx or one made for a bridge hammock. Its like working on a car if you dont have the right tools for the job it makes it harder
