Guys. I was at the fabric store today to look at prices for the DIY IX under quilt. This was after looking at http://www.backwoodsdaydreamer.com/for all the raw materials.

It looks like this is going to come out to at least 70 bucks for mats. And I also found that I would rather get the mats from backwoods than the fabric store.

With the JRB ringing in at $100, I find it hard to bring myself to try to learn to sew for this.

So my question is. Are there advantages of the DIY IX over something like the Jarbridge? The JRB folks make it hard to justify DIY.

Outside if the fact that I would learn a little sewing. Heh.
