Awww...Shug, that was so nice! Great trip report. Russ and I started doing winter trips with our hammocks for the past 3 yrs now because of you. Thanks for being our inspiration.

Great vid Shug! That overstuffed peapod is something else. Looked like a great spot and time! How can you go wrong with the PG chili and the coffee crisp? Had a couple of those myself over the season....frozen with a glass of milk...whooo buddy! Fruit cake by the slice?.....intrigued!

    Cheers

Nice video, thanks for sharing! I heard you mention you have plantar fascititis (sp??) in one of your other videos, do you have it under control? and if so, how? I've been plagued with it, but have it beat right now with superfeet insoles and stretching, but it seems to come back when I hike any distance...

It is mostly gone....just a wee bit of arch pain from time to time.
I used heel cups, acupuncture, stretching, PT, ice but think I got the most help from lifting a sock filled with 3 pounds of coins to re-strengthen the arch.
    Do these......

    Sock drape

Fill a tube sock with gravel or coins (that you find on your walk/runs....LOL), seal with rubber band. Sit down and drape the sock with the coins or gravel equally distributed over your foot....then lift your foot toward the ceiling. Do this 10 times each foot several times a day.

You do not have to do all these exercises, I just gave several options, but you will want to do these to help strengthen the lower leg.

    Alphabet stretch

Sit in a chair with your leg extended in front of you. Trace the alphabet in cursive with your toes trying not to break the rhythm. Do this on each leg 3-5 times, 2-3 times a day.

    Marble Pick-ups

Put marbles on the floor and pick them up with your toes and place in a cup. Do this 1-2 times daily with each foot.

    Towel Scrunch

Place a towel flat on a wood/tile floor. Sit in a chair and then use your toes to scrunch the towel in a heap. Do once on each foot daily.

Looks like a true winter wonderland, there, Shug! All of that snow has me remembering my childhood in the northeast.

Gorgeous time, but it sure looked cold! -3 is a bit much for me...been in FL too long, I guess...

    Another great Shug production!
