    RR with Dynaglide Whoopies?

Anyone using the RR with DG Whoopies? I know the angle is supposed to be a little more shallow, so it puts more stress on the suspension. I'm ~150lbs. Think I could get away fine with DG on the RR?

It's not the type of cord, it's how long the dog bone triangles are, and how tight you string the hammock between trees that will effect the stress on the spreader bars. If your talking about switching the dog bones out for dynaglide, just make sure the lengths turn out the same as it was. (I think that's what you meant...)

Check the interactive hang force calculator that Dejoha did. Just plug in all your variables, see what the force of your hang vs strength of the DG is, and make your decision.

My suspension triangles on each end are now finished length from edge of Dutch clip to Brandon's suspension bar metal clip are 37" each with the 4" extension removed from the head end and perfect for me, and is quite stable. The spreader bar on the head end has held up just fine as I sleep in hammock every nite indoors when not outside. Night before last,,,my eyehook came out of the wall at 2am and "Bammmm!" lol,,,down I went, After a year and half of hanging from it,,came to find out that it was screwed inbetween the 2 studs and not in the wood. Went to Lowes and got a new longer eyebolts (3" long" and redrilled and made sure it was centered in the width of the stud and screwed it 3" inches in,,BUT..first thought when laying on my side and was about 18" off the floor was header bar broke. and everything is fine.. I am putting the RR thru quite extensive testing even if its not planned testing. The wife got up the next moring with me sleeping in the easy chair with TQ over me and asked if she was dreaming when she heard me say SOB at 2am... My weight is 165lbs and am using 7/54 amsteel, but see that yu can get away with what you want to use for suspension. Test away and let everybody know how it works.

After 9 months of hanging, I'm waiting for my first inevitable fall! I know its coming, I kind of wish it would just hurry up and get here so I could get it over with
