I like that name! I will be working on your other ReconMN and flys here shortly. Still recovering from our paddle to Horn Island. The wind was brutal and rough sea conditions for the 8 mile trip out.
FYI - ever since Katrina, the east end of Horn Island lost most of it's trees (they were dying off anyway). So, I took my tent and not my hammock.
HATED IT! I roasted every night. And with both doors open and the 17 mph wind blowing across the sand, my tent and I got covered.

Next time, I WILL take my new hammock stands (I may do a video on how to make the four piece V stand from tubing soon) to set up in the dunes. The hammock would have been much cooler and off the blowing sand.

    New Direction for PAK-IT-LITE Hammocks

Awesome week in my FOB, ReconMN and my scouts. Thank you Tony for these great hammocks. Also thanks for the minor issue with hanging you fixed with a phone call. Will post the setup and as pointed out on the scout I am backwards in it but I was catch the kids as they tubed down the river. If y'all have not tried one of these set ups you really should. Spent 5 days and now wondering how I'm going back to sleep in a bed. I'm a proud FOB owner. A converted ENO hanger. This hammock has become my goto setup. I especially like the full coverage fly. I've used mine on cold and wet trips now with great success. .. read that as great sleeping.
    Obtw.. I'm 6' 2" and well over 250# and I sleep like a rotiserie.
Well worth the hand crafted care and attention to design by Tony.

Can you go to this thread https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...closed-hammock and set these guys straight? Not sure who has come up with all these rules but someone has their blinders on.

One would think the owner would clear up any misconceptions and offer clarifications where needed.

I would suggest you read the TOS and contact a mod for any clarification of the vendor rules.
