    Wow Gnome good pic's I got a full refund from REI for renting the wrong tails for our snowshoes. That was very admirable of them to do so. Personally the MSR shoes worked great around 4lbs if you got to carry them but guess you wouldnt notice them on your feet as much. What snowshoe to use would well it depends how deep your pockets are I like the look if the aluminum frame snowshoes. Sure wish I hadnt lost my camera phone in the snow with all the pictures bummer.

    I have had MSR Lighting Ascents, MSR EVO's, Tubbs Mountaineers, and now have the Atlas 1225's. I like the Atlas the most so far...just my 2 cents
