    Video: cold backyard hammocking.

Not positive that this will work, first time uploading a video. but here goes.

last night i spent the night in the yard with my hammock. bout 26 degrees and very windy. i stayed really warm. slept in a t shirt and shorts. and socks. this is the set up i had.

tell me what yall think of the mummy bag between the hammock and underquilt please. Untill last night i was not aware that people did not do it this way. so im wondering why? or why not?

    thanks again!

Good stuff Fluffy - I thought about the backyard hang as well last night but still fighting a cold. Anyway, it looks like your gear is coming along.

See my tips below on the embedding thing.

Carbon fiber arrow shafts turned toggles--very nice.
Sleeping bag gone pod, even nicer.
Smart way to hold the pod up closer eliminating the air gap, very good.
Your 1 dollar scrunchy things make me wonder why nylon hose wont work
    as snakeskins?
26F in the wind looks like major success!
Now tell me about the chevy in the background-does it run; love the copper patina
    on it.

Nice job fluffy. Shug uses a mummy bag like "pod" around his hammock for winter camping. If u add some channels to ur uq u can close up those gaps and cinch it tighter . Oh and I too have a set of dollar tree loofa snake skins. Do you find they rip easy?
As a wise man once said "If woman don't find you handsome at least they'll find you handy." Hang in there.

well my "underquilt" my girlfriend actually uses it as a sleeping bag sometimes so as for now no channels for it and as for the snake skins, mine havent yet, well i take that back, as i first put them on they did a little bit, but as soon as i realized it i stopped found where it was catching at and fixed it, now i just side it about a foot at a time as to not catch on it anywhere, still faster then trying to fold and fold, then rolling it up!

Would yall believe fluffy left me inside last night, and he's doing it again tonight. But alas, I do not yet have a tarp of my own, so it's inside hammocking for me :/ ...for now... but I'd rather sleep in a hammock inside or out than a plane old bed anyday, so it's all good
