Any chance of getting an UGQ subsection? What's the policy around this?

I think one of the criteria for new sub forums is when there are enough threads about a topic that it makes sense to do it to keep things organized and tidy.
At least, that seems to be the most common answer given when ever similar sub-forum creation requests are made.

Yep - that's the answer. We don't create subforums for "vendor status" or to reward specific vendors...we only create them for organizational purposes. Once a vendor has enough legitimate conversation about his/her products, we open a sub.
So there's no specific number or else some folks try to game the rules and start new threads to increase the count. It just depends on the volume of actual content for that vendor.

Hmm thanks folks. I would have figured that we're there now as it seems like threads about his products are dominating the other manufacturer sub-forum. Cheers!
