    New Weather Cover for BlackBird

I just took the shape of the bugnet and made a DWR weather cover the same size and put a vent in the top that can be adjusted. Way lighter than my first attempt. Mule

Thanks for posting this Mule. Looks great. I have something very similar in the works right now.

Mule, looks great! How does it attach?
My knife is so sharp it cut the sixth finger off my right hand! On the plus side, Inigo Montoya no longer hunts me.

I put that super soft velcro mesh on the hammock right beside the bugnet and the soft hook velcro on the weather cover itself. Mule

That looks great, I was thinking of doing something like this with my bb. The vent, can you take a picture with it open? Thanks Russ

Sure, coming soon, next time I have it out. It is just a square window made of bugnet, edged with Velcro. The lid for the window is just a square edged with Velcro and and it can be opened and Velcro'd open by pulling it open and over the long piece of Velcro that is sewn in next to it. It is sewn on on the side next to the long strip of Velcro so it is always attached. Mule

It looks like the velcro window is on the out side. Wouldn't be better to have this on the inside? This way you can open/close it while laying in the bb. I bet you just flip the cover over, right? Have you had any problems with condensation?
