Looking for a neck knife or other reasonable fixed blade no more than $30 -ish. I may just pop over to amazon and pick up a Mora, but I thought I would start here to see if there is anyone ready to part with a used blade. Thanks.

Mora's are a good knife. Keep in mind that the sheath is very cheap plastic sleeve so you'll want to get a proper neck sheath which will probably cost you more than the knife. Have a look at the BK 14,,,i think it comes with a neck sheath,,not sure of the exact price.

Boker Grasshopper is a nice option. Priced right at your mark too!
Trust nobody!
Thanks Bill. I'll give it a look. I want it for general around camp use, but also to process some wood for my junky little DIY woodgas stove.
Thanks Cannibal. It is priced right, but a wee bit tiny.
Thanks OG, you may have helped push me over the edge on this one. $37 shipped with sheath is pretty awesome.
My vote goes to the BK 14. Mine can be seen here. It comes with enough paracord to wrap the handle, make a lanyard and a necklace for the sheath. I got mine off of amazon for around 38$ with free shipping.

+1 on the Mora's
+1 on the Mora. I made a deerhide cover for the plastic Mora cover. I'm attaching a photo. I wear this knife under my shirt every day, whether hiking or working. I only take it off to fly commercially.

+1 on the Mora. Bens Backwoods has them and some nice leather neck sheaths, reasonable prices $10 or so on knives and sheaths for $20 or so
