FS - DIY Hammock & Matching Hammock Sock

    For sale:
DIY 1.1 hammock with an adjustable 2.2 Zing-It ridge line, new lighter weight 6 ft tree straps (same ones BIAS uses), toggles, and whoopie sling suspension through sewn end channels (3x) with continuous loops. Includes stuff sack.
Hammock is an experimental one I made to go small & light. 9 ft long and 46" wide. It's too narrow & short for my liking, but would work for a smaller hammocker. Great kid's hammock. I'm 5'9"" and can't quite get a good diagonal lay in it.
Will get pix of this up tomorrow.
    $45.00 shipped conus

Would prefer to sell it along with a matching hammock sock, but willing to separate. Nice fall/winter set up for the smaller camper.
10' long Fronkey stlye construction. Fits fairly tight to the hammock. I've used it with my BIAS and under quilt protector and it works very well. Easy in & out. Easy to close up from inside the hammock.

$85.00 for the matched set shipped conus.

    The sock:

Shown with my BIAS and UQ protector.

Use a simple tie off to the whoopie sling to hang.

I think I would like the sock, two questions; how much does it weight? and I want to make sure it will fit the 11ft bias?

Weight is about 8 oz according my fish scale.

The pix are of the sock covering my 11 ft BIAS. This is not a deep cold cover for the BIAS. I used it with an under quilt with a cover. The bottom of the cover will be exposed when you lie in the hammock. The cover works very well for wind and temps into the 30's. It does cover the top, sides and most of the bottom of the under quilt to keep out the wind.
I made it as a small, 3 season cover to take along just in case the weather changed. The material is 1.1 ripstop, dark olive 2nds from DIY Gear. There are no flaws in the material.

Is the sock made with a breathable fabric? I would love this for my GTUL.

Yes. It's 1.1 ripstop. I have used it for a couple of test nights and it works well.
