I agree with Grizz, Shug and the other 12 hammock apostles.

Trust the quant among us to come up with a solution that involves larger numbers...

I honestly don't think I could narrow it down to just six. The number of folks on here (past and present) who innovate in unusual ways is just too great to be narrowed down like that. I mean, we're pretty much watching the "locked room" phenomenon here on the forums already...well, minus the bread and water (and vitamins!)...

That has to be one of the toughest questions ever posted here....only 6?

Te-Wa, top of the list...I would not have ever found hammocks if not for him...which would mean that I would not have started AHE which would mean I and my family would probably would not have our house and everything else. A few comments on a forum years ago that lead me here changed my life. And he's a super cool hiker quilt maker guy to

Dejoha for sure would make the cut. Cool guy, great artist and hammock guru. Can't beet that.

Luckily for me I get to finally meet them both in the next couple months.

Grizz...aka the Professor. Missed meeting him last year by a couple hours. Hate when crap comes up that prevents you from doing what you want to do...Still hate that I had to bail on getting together grizz.

Shug...meet the man but would still like to hit the trail with him. Anyone that has a chance to see Shugs show should make time, it was a highlight of the year.

OldGringo Shared a fire once and would love to again.

Cannibal. Many chats on the phone, favors back and forth but I will have to make it to CO sometime to get to hang out with People eater.

Dang thats a short list...only 6 is not nearly enough and thats just some of the folks that I have not meet. Hope to get out more this year and meet more of ya'll.

    My additions

IMHO we should add Ed Speer and The Jacks to the possibilities. They were the pioneers who broke trail.
Gentle raindrops and mighty oceans...neither can exist without the other.
Time heals all wounds...but it usually leaves a pretty big scar.
