That's awesome. Must be fantastic sunrises and sunsets from those perches.
That's an amazing experience, but honestly, how we'll do you sleep in the harness and gear? I would like to try it, but I would expect a long night of tossing and turning in and out of sleep...

Honestly? If I am solo I sleep way better above 20 feet. I posted a thread on here about my attempt to sleep next to the ground. When I entered the forest (which turned out to be a swamp) I got so terrified of werewolves and "three headed grizzly bears" that I ended up climbing a tree withOUT safety gear (stupid) and slept well. You know that feeling you get when you wake up to something big walking by your camp, you are instantly awake, heart racing, not wanting to move and give away your presence? Well that never happens up in the treetops, I will wake up for a moment then realize no creature can get me and fall back asleep.
I have adopted the alpinist style of camping which is to sleep in the gear that kept me warm all day. My harness is soft and my clothes are already warm, I sleep well.
Refreshing
lets hear what gear is needed and where you learned to climb.. def interested. b/c the zombies
