    Cold backyard camping.

Well it looks like its going to be a cold windy night. So im going to try out my setup in the driveway got my eno dn with whoopis. Eno profly tarp a homemade underquilt from a sleeping bag. And a mummy bag for like a sock? It slips over my hammock but it goes between the hammock and underquilt. Ill post pictures in a trip report and all that good stuff tomorrow! Wish me luck

Good luck... I would be interested in a detailed shot of your sock... Never seen one go between the hammock and underquilt, usually they go outside everything...

I will take some good pics. I love my sock I use it every day inside. And yes I will have a small down blanket just in case.

Just for a quick update, the wind stopped. I kinda wish it was still blowing tho. The temp is 26° and I'm toasty.

Sounds like a winner... Until a week ago I would have been utterly impressed that you could be warm at 25*... Until I woke up toasty warm at 18* on Sunday morning
