New Darien UL and Shipping Times?

I just pulled the trigger on one of the pieces of gear I really wanted in the new year - a Darien UL to lighten the pack even further. Super excited! The wait is [almost] the best part.

Anyone else ordered from Dream Hammocks lately and can comment on the approximate time between order and completion? It's looking like about 3-4 weeks based on the queue on his site, but I'd love real-world input if anyone has some.

I have not tested the Darien ul enough to answer the question but I can say that the workman ship is in one word,"perfect". In the future when I have had the opportunity to do more testing I will try and put a review out. Until then all I can say is from what I have seen so far is you cant go wrong with the Darien ul .But only if your with in the weight ranges.

I ordered mine on dec. 3rd and just received it Jan. 4th. Keep in mind it probably takes a little longer over the holidays.

Once you order and are given an order number, you can keep track on the Dream website. Just click the order status tab.

Very nice! What did you end up getting? How do you like it so far?

I got the 11' Darien UL, with 4' straps and 5' dyneema whoopie slings. I've been busy here so I haven't even had it out of the bag yet.

I'm running around 4 weeks right now and hope to pick up the pace a little after a couple slow weeks during the holidays.
I just posted this week's builds.

Nice, my order's on there! Thanks for confirming approximate timing PapaSmurf. Looking forward to it (and seriously thinking about placing another order for a DangerBird).
